The Closing

The closing is the last step; soon your house will be sold. During the closing, an escrow officer that works for the title company or closing agent will explain the paperwork, collect signatures and collect/disburse money. Remember to bring the keys to the house.

The closing should, ideally, last for an hour or two. However, there may be some last minute financing details that need to be taken care of, so be prepared to devote a few hours to the closing process.
